Returns Policy

Should any item fail to meet your expectations, simply return it within 30 days in a new and unused condition and we will gladly exchange it or refund your merchandise price. Shipping and Processing charges still apply. An extension to 30 days may be granted during the holiday season.

Gift Certificates are final sale.

If there is a problem with a product or an error on your order, please e-mail info@chefspecialties.com or call 800-440-2433 (CHEF) and we will assist you. If we've sent you the wrong or a damaged item, we will take care of the return shipping and ship a replacement at no additional charge to you.

Refund Requests:

Once the returned item is received, please allow 7 to 10 business days for the item to be processed by our returns department. The original price of the item(s) plus any applicable tax will be credited to your original method of payment.

Exchange Requests:

Once the returned item is received, we will process a new order for your exchange and ship it at no cost to you. If the new item is a higher price, we will contact you for additional payment; if the new item is a lower price, we will refund the difference to your original method of payment.

Yes, we ship Worldwide! For orders shipping to destinations outside of the U.S. and Canada, please e-mail us at info@chefspecialties.com.

Order Processing

Orders received by 1pm EST will typically ship same day.

Please allow 2-4 business days for the processing and shipping of your order, while we work hard to ship same-day, we sometimes need extra days when our order volume is high.

Please allow 5 days processing time for personalized and designer items.

Lifetime Warranty on Pepper Grinding Mechanism

The grinding mechanism of this pepper mill has a Lifetime Guarantee. This guarantee does not cover breakage or other damage due to improper use, negligence, accidents or alterations. This guarantee does not cover cracked or broken bodies of acrylic or wood pepper mills. Improper use includes grinding salt and/or other spices or products.  This guarantee does not cover the finish. The guarantee is void if anyone other than Chef Specialties Company, or its authorized repair stations has repaired a pepper mill.  This guarantee gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

Limited Guarantee on Grinding Mechanism of Electronic Pepper Mills
The grinding mechanism of all electronic pepper mills carries a Limited One-Year Guarantee to be free from defects in material or workmanship.  This warranty does not cover problems resulting from abuse, neglect or failure to follow the usage instructions.  Damage to the body and finish is not covered.  The product is not warranted for commercial use. The guarantee is void if anyone other than Chef Specialties Company, or its authorized repair stations has repaired the pepper mill.  This guarantee gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

To Make a Claim
Final decisions for all claims under this guarantee will be at the sole discretion of Chef Specialties.
To make a claim under this guarantee, please send your product in for inspection to: Chef Specialties, ATTN: Returns, 411 W. Water Street, Smethport, PA 16749-1199. You are responsible for return shipping. If your claim is approved, Chef Specialties will repair or replace your product and return it to you at no additional cost. This guarantee gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
